Currently, The Mainstream Underground Transportation Tools Are Mainly Divided Into Two Categories: Rail-based And Trackless.

This category encompasses over ten subcategories, allowing for flexible selection based on underground roadway standards, transport capacity, and operational scenarios.

1. Rail-Mounted Underground Transport Vehicles
These vehicles rely on fixed tracks for operation, offering high stability and large transport capacity, making them suitable for long-distance, high-volume transport.

• Overhead-Wire Electric Locomotives: Powered by overhead lines at the top of the coal roadway, these are the most commonly used rail transport equipment underground. Suitable for coal roadway conditions with moderate transport capacity, common maximum power models include 10kW, 20kW, and 30kW, with range not limited by the onboard power supply.

• Battery-Powered Electric Locomotives: Self-powered by batteries, eliminating the need for overhead lines. Suitable for coal mines with gas and dust explosion-proof standards, with a single trip lasting approximately 8-12 hours and a load capacity typically ranging from 5-30 tons.

• Wire Rope Traction Conveyors: Used for long-distance, high-volume transport of core equipment. Single-unit transport lines can reach several kilometers, transporting hundreds of tons of coal or ore per hour, suitable for the main transport roadways of large and medium-sized coal mines.

• Scraper Conveyor: Primarily used for short-distance transport in coal faces and roadways. It moves synchronously with the coal mining machine and has a strong capacity for transporting lumpy raw materials. Common models include the SGZ630 and SGZ764 series.

• Bucket Hoist: Used for vertically hoisting coal and gangue, mainly used in vertical shaft coal mines. Lifting heights can reach hundreds of meters, with single bucket load capacities ranging from 1 to 10 tons.

2. Trackless Underground Transport Vehicles: Requires no fixed tracks, offering high flexibility and suitable for situations with large fluctuations and numerous branches in coal roadways.

• Underground Loader: Combines loading, unloading, and transport functions, and is the mainstay equipment in underground mining. Available in diesel and electric versions, with load capacities ranging from 2 to 20 tons, suitable for short-distance transport in large, medium, and small mining faces.

• Underground Belt Transport Vehicle: Includes flatbed trucks, box trucks, and dump trucks, with load capacities ranging from 5 to 100 tons. Can transport personnel, equipment, and raw materials. Some explosion-proof models can be used in high-gas mines.

• Monorail: Suspended on a dedicated track at the top of the coal mine roadway, it does not occupy the floor space and is suitable for coal mine roadways with small cross-sections. It has a load capacity of up to 50 tons and can achieve long-distance continuous transport.

• Gearbox: Combining the advantages of rail and trackless systems, it adds meshing gears to ordinary tires, improving climbing ability in geared coal mine roadways with a maximum climbing angle of over 15°.

3. Specialized Transport Vehicles for Special Scenarios
Subcategories developed for extreme underground environments:

• Explosion-proof Diesel Transport Vehicle: Equipped with a full set of explosion-proof devices, it can be used in coal mines with a risk of gas explosions, preventing accidents caused by exhaust gas and mechanical sparks.

• Worker Rubber-wheeled Vehicle: Specifically designed for underground worker commuting, with a capacity ranging from 8 to 40 people. It features shock absorption and safety features, improving the safety and comfort of underground workers during transport.

• Hydraulic Conveyor: Utilizes high-pressure water flow to transport powdery materials such as coal dust and tailings. It has no mechanical transmission parts and is suitable for high-humidity, dusty special operating environments.

Note: The selection of underground transportation vehicles must comply with the latest industry standards such as the "Coal Mine Safety Regulations". Explosion-proof equipment must obtain the Coal Mine Product Safety Mark (MA mark), and professional training is required before operation.
